Nino - Sinulog NZ For 19 years, New Zealanders of Philippine origins look forward to one of the most colourful festival in Auckland, the Sinulog NZ festival. Celebrated every 3rd Sunday of January, the annual celebration is becoming one of the important display of Asian culture in New Zealand. The festival aggrandizes a pious tradition presented in pageantry, dance and music in honor of the Santo Niño (Holy Child Jesus). The North Shore Events Centre will reverberate to the sound of revelry as the celebration continues to attract more than 10,000 participants and visitors from all over the country.
